The story of Collett & Victor began in 1982 under the name ‘LF Selection', a family enterprise rooted in the rich tradition of upholstery and restoration.
2021, a new chapter
In 2021, the family business came under the ownership of Julie Collett and Stieven Victor. With their extensive experience in the high-end interior sector and a clear vision for the future, they brought a new dynamic to the house.
Remaining true to the traditional craftsmanship and expertise that have defined the company for years, they combine this heritage with a contemporary approach. This seamless blend of tradition and modernity honors Belgium’s rich artisanal legacy while meeting the demands of today’s discerning clients.
In 2022, LF Selection underwent a complete rebranding and became Collett & Victor. With this new name and identity, we emphasize our passion for craftsmanship and bespoke design, embracing a vision that is both timeless and future-oriented.
2023, Recognized as Royal Warrant Holder
In 2023, as new owners, we were once again recognized as an Official Royal Warrant Holder to the Belgian Royal Court. We consider this title a great honor and a confirmation of the path we have taken. It acknowledges the quality, reliability, and craftsmanship that define our workshop every single day, and it motivates us to continue upholding these same high standards in the future.
2024, Launch of our fabric collection
In 2024, we launched our first in-house fabric collection, designed to upholster our furniture completely. The collection features the Nomad and Canyon collection, thoughtfully crafted to combine craftsmanship and style, enhancing any interior.
2024, First International Showroom in Sweden
In 2024, we opened our first international showroom in Sweden, located in the stunning Svenstorps Slott. This historic castle showcases our handcrafted furniture and fabric collections, allowing visitors to experience the quality and craftsmanship of Collett & Victor in a truly unique setting.
2025, Expansion to the United States
In 2025, we expanded our presence for the first time to North America, specifically the United States. We are now active in five different showrooms, bringing our handcrafted furniture and fabric collections to an international audience and sharing our passion for craftsmanship.
2025, Coming back stronger after complete destruction
In 2025, the Collett & Victor workshop and showroom in Emelgem were completely destroyed by a devastating fire. The total loss was immediate and absolute: all furniture, materials, and facilities were lost in the flames. Yet we did not let this setback discourage us. Thanks to the dedication of our team and the support of numerous partners, we are coming back stronger.
From August onward, we will produce and showcase our handcrafted furniture and fabric collections at a new location, just a few hundred meters from our previous workshop.
