A luxurious master suite

Art Deco influences, classic detailing, and contemporary design come together in project Belfast, a residential townhouse in Kortrijk designed by Aurélie Penneman. Collett & Victor crafted a bespoke headboard and sofa with carefully selected fabrics and finishes for the luxurious master suite.

With its soft, luxurious presence, the headboard brings calm and cohesion to the room, forming a strong foundation for layered styling with art, textiles, and carefully selected vintage accents.

The home itself, a characterful townhouse near the banks of the river Leie, still carries the spirit of the 1930s, gently revived through refined architectural gestures. In the north-facing rooms, crisp white walls provide a serene canvas, allowing colour and character to shine through furniture, custom lighting, and art.

Soft light, rich materials, and a sense of understated luxury that never feels overstated characterize the master bedroom. Collett & Victor’s burgundy headboard with white contrasting welting grounds the entire space. The custom sofa with lined fabric and playful fringes only adds to the interplay of nostalgia and modernity. The layers, texture and finishes are an expression of craftsmanship that doesn’t just complete the room, but defines it.
