A seaside villa transformation

Biarritz

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Atlantic coast, a stately villa in Biarritz has undergone a quiet transformation. Once a traditional summer home, it is now a serene coastal retreat, a space where calm tones, natural textures, and refined craftsmanship create a timeless sense of ease.

Interior design

Led by interior designer Wouter Tousseyn, this project is a thoughtful reimagining of space, light, and material. Honoring the villa’s original character while embracing modern sensibilities, the design language is understated yet deeply intentional.

At the heart of the living space sits our Robin sofa Its soft curves and inviting proportions echo the home’s gentle rhythm. Upholstered in a warm, tactile fabric, the sofa brings both comfort and quiet presence to the room.

Tousseyn’s approach is subtle and refined: never overpowering, always balanced. In this context, the Robin sofa doesn’t just complete the room, it grounds it. A piece that enhances the atmosphere without ever distracting from it.
