A look back at two inspiring days at Design Nation 2026 in Kortrijk

On 15 and 16 October, Collett & Victor presented a selection of pieces at Design Nation 2026 at Kortrijk Xpo, the leading trade event for project and contract design. It was two days of inspiring encounters, just around the corner from our showroom.

Design Nation brings together a curated selection of design brands and a professional audience of interior architects, designers, project developers and decision-makers. With its focus on hospitality, workspace and healthcare, the event offers a unique platform to discover what will shape the interiors of tomorrow.

For us, this edition felt especially personal. Our showroom is in Kortrijk, and our atelier lies just a short drive away. Welcoming visitors so close to where every piece is made gave each conversation an extra layer of meaning.

Our stand became a calm, inviting retreat within the busy halls. A muted green carpet and framed black-and-white photographs celebrating craftsmanship set a quiet backdrop, while a warm, earthy palette of ochre, olive, rust and soft yellow brought the setting to life.

Here we presented a selection of pieces from our collection. The Elly corner sofa and the Felix sofa set the tone, joined by the Mauro chaise longue, the Bo one seater and the Kitros chauffeuse. The Ida counter stool, the Nova coffee table, the Nova end table and the Otis coffee table completed the scene.

On the tables, our sample boxes and fabric swatches invited visitors to explore woods, finishes and textiles up close, and to imagine how each piece could be tailored to a specific project.

Over two days, there was room for real conversation about ongoing projects, new collaborations and how comfort, durability and design can go hand in hand in contract settings.
