VC. House
Knokke
In this project by interior architect Simon De Burbure, the residence plays with layering and contrasts. Natural stone forms the foundation, complemented by wood, glass, and generous natural light. The architecture constantly engages in a dialogue with its surroundings: a forest on one side and a golf course on the other. Within this thoughtful framework, we deliver seating that not only complements the architecture but fully blends into it.
In the kitchen, a custom-made bench becomes a sleek, integrated element that follows the warm materials of the interior while inviting people to come together. The selected seating pieces add refined comfort and soft forms that balance the home’s clean architectural lines.
The Fritz one-seater, with its rounded, organic lines, enhances the sense of comfort and softness within the interior, creating an intimate resting point in the open spaces.
The Anna No Back brings a light and contemporary touch. Its soft curves and the absence of a fixed backrest give the piece an airy and versatile character, perfectly attuned to the transparency that defines the home.
With these three carefully chosen seating solutions, we add refined comfort to the architectural clarity of Simon De Burbure’s design. The result: an interior where furniture and architecture flow seamlessly into one another.
